ABOUT THE CORPORATION
Solano College of Nursing is a corporation founded in Febuary 1993 by Leticia R. Weber, President. Leticia Weber has owned and managed Solano College of Nursing for the past 10+ years. The corporation has 3 sites: Vallejo, Sunnyvale, and Stockton. Leticia manages all schools and is actively involved in the daily operation of the business. She has also worked very closely with Skilled Nursing Facilities in the counties of Marin, San Joaquin, Solano, and Contra Costa, assisting them with their staffing needs and helping Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Vocational Nurses and Registered Nurses find suitable employment with the Long-Term Care industry. The success of Leticia's endeavors is attributed to meeting and maintaining high standards in the delivery of education to its students.
Solano College of Nursing objectives:
▪ To develop caring, conscientious, and knowledgeable care givers through excellent education
▪ To train students to become Certified Nursing Assistants who provide services to the frail and elderly with sincerity and genuine desire to uphold and maintain high quality care
▪ To employ instructors who support the school's principles, mission and objectives and are equally dedicated to a common goal of excellent service
▪ To assist the Certified Nursing Assistant in expanding her role to become a Home Health Care Aide and share the client's goal: To maintain an optimum level of functioning.
